Possible Lore of “The Laziest Men on Mars”

 Disclaimer:Do not take this as absolute, 100 percent fact. This is merely a theory based on what I gathered from the Laziest Men’s music and videos. Since they are obscure media and could count as lost media I do not have much info. And this is from a teen who hates modern culture.

So, I have been a Laziest Men on Mars fan back in late 2020. I really loved the All Your Base meme. And I still do. But after a while, starting in 2022, I felt something. What if below all that humor and sci-fi laid something a lot deeper? Messages that were predicting the horrid future of society and the government? Stuff about death, mental health issues and suicide?

So I decided to listen to all the songs I could. Here are the meanings of the songs. They arent all dark, some could just be casual.(Any songs not included were most likely joke songs or just remixes)

Invasion of the Gabber Robots-poking fun at All Your Base with shitty Photoshop.

The Terrible Secret of Space-Some bloke’s horrid PTSD flashback after being injured horribly down a staircase (The song has some moments that remind me of that beeping machines in hospitals.) or the evils of politics and how it breeds a dystopia.

Symbolism I found: 

Space Robots: Overlords who claim they want to protect humans but actually only want to fight on either pushing or shoving. Basically politicians. Pushing/shoving people:Censoring, jailing or murdering political opponents. The stairs:Probably a prison for the political opponents. Bread: Censoring people and taking one’s voice away. The actual terrible secret of space: Freedom, happiness, and equality.

Worst Birthday Ever- Someone trying to enjoy fun experiences despite the trauma in their life. (Could be related to “The Terrible Secret)

Happy Softcore- Nihilism, dreaming,hope for better futures, nostalgia

Nothing Can Stop Torg-Facism,evil conquering good, dystopia, how easy it is for power to fall into the hands of evil

The Laziest Man on Mars-A typical workday, boredom, space, hope

The Children of Mars- Corruption, brainswashing,evil, death, nostalgia (This song does make me cry tbh)

Because of the band members not having any social media or contacts, and there is not much info about them anymore, I am not 100 sure this is true. But this theory is just a post I made to express my wonder about the band.
